Unfortunately, like many businesses, our truck and auto repair facility comes with its consequences to our environment. However, we here at Joey's are dedicated to doing whatever we can to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle! Anything we can… from paper products, to hazardous waste oil & even electricity!

Take the old oil that comes out of your vehicle after an oil change for example; our facility has a federally approved "Clean Burning Heater" for heating the entire shop in the cooler months. This heater burns the old used engine oil that we've collected throughout the year! Not only does this save electricity, it also disposes of waste oil in a properly approved way.

We've had a large outdoor recycling container placed on our yard, as well as smaller recycling containers throughout the shop. We make sure to separate our garbage from our recyclable products such as paper, plastic bottles, cans, cardboard, etc... We even crush down all of the used oil and fuel filters and recycle them, too! Our service facility is taking many steps forward in helping preserve our environment! This process is important for our future generations… why not start with us?

We are pleased to announce that, Joey Aycock, who was named the NAPA/ASE Technician of the Year 2009 & 2010 for the Charlotte District, and the 2011 NAPA/ASE Technician of the Year for the Atlantic Region, has gone on this year to be among the Top 5 finalists in the entire Nation for the title of 2012 NAPA/ASE Technician of the Year! We are so proud of Joey and all of his accomplishments thus far! We look forward to working towards the ultimate goal, of being named THE NAPA/ASE Technician of the Year!
